3698717 - Invalid Value Error for Field “Valuation Status” During Service Excel Upload

During service upload using an Excel template, the system performs field validation and terminates the upload due to an invalid value maintained in a valuation status–related field.

SAP Business ByDesign 

1. Navigate to the Product Data work center.
2. Go to Services and choose New Services from Excel Template.
3. Download and maintain the Excel template with service data.
4. From the SAP Business ByDesign tab in Excel, select Save Data To and attempt to upload the file.
5. The system performs validation and the upload fails with an invalid value error related to a valuation status field.

The error occurs because the valuation status field in the Excel template is maintained with a value that is not supported by the system during validation.

1. In the New Services Excel template, maintain the valuation status field with the only supported value “1”.
2. Ensure that the template data is maintained consistently without duplicate or conflicting entries.
3. Save the corrected file and reattempt the service upload.
