Symptom

  • An error occurs when attempting to perform a mass change on purchasing info records.
  • The error message displayed is: "Address texts do not exist."

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to perform a mass change on purchasing info records.
  2. Observe the error message: "Address texts do not exist."

Cause

The warning message "Address texts do not exist" appears in the log due to missing data in the Business Partner (BP) or supplier information.

Resolution

  1. Open the Maintain Business Partner application.
  2. Enter the Vendor or Business Partner number.
  3. Double-click on the Business Partner in the result list.
  4. Switch to change mode if necessary.
  5. Maintain the "Comments" text field.
  6. Save the changes.
