Symptom

  • Error 401 Unauthorized occurs when attempting to download files from Document Center using REST API 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to access the API URL using REST API.
  2. Include double quotes in the API call.
  3. Observe that the API call fails with error 401 Unauthorized.

Cause

  • Incorrect API URL used in the configuration.

Resolution

  1. Validate the API endpoint being used for the REST API call.
  2. Please find the below sample URL 

  3. https://onboarding4.successfactors.com/ONB/api.ashx/authenticate/ONBAccountID/KMSUserID/KMSUSerIDPassword
