Symptom

While Upgrading to SOLR 9.8, the following exceptions are noticed in solr logs

ERROR (main) [c: s: r: x: t:] o.a.s.s.CoreContainerProvider Could not start Solr. Check solr/home property and the logs => org.apache.solr.common.SolrException: Error occurred while loading solr.xml from zookeeper
at org.apache.solr.core.NodeConfig.loadNodeConfig(NodeConfig.java:279)

Caused by: org.apache.solr.common.SolrException: Unknown configuration parameter in <solrcloud> section of solr.xml: modules
at org.apache.solr.core.SolrXmlConfig.fillSolrCloudSection(SolrXmlConfig.java:599) ~[?:?]
