• The interview confirmation email is always generated from the email template associated with the trigger, rather than the template manually selected during interview scheduling.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Select a time slot.
2. Click 'Continue'.
3. The 'Contact Candidate(s)' panel is displayed.
4. Select a different email template.
5. Select the checkbox 'Book this slot for candidates'.
6. Click 'Send to Candidate' or 'Skip Email'.
7. Notice that the email is not generated using the manually selected template.

This is the expected behavior. The email template selected on the Interview Scheduling screen is not used for sending interview confirmation emails for booked schedules, but rather a template for inviting candidates to book an interview time.

The interview confirmation email is automatically sent using the template associated with the corresponding email trigger.

When scheduling an interview, the following two email triggers are involved. The notifications for booked interview schedules are automatically sent using the 'Interview Confirmation to Candidate' trigger, which does not support manual edits before sending.

Candidate Self-Schedules Interview: Sent to candidates who have been invited to interview, asking them to log in and confirm an interview time. Required for Interview Scheduling.

• This email is manually sent using the 'Contact Candidate(s)' panel, which appears after you select a time slot and click Continue.
• The email template associated with the 'Candidate Self-Schedules Interview' trigger (if configured) is preselected in the email editor and can be manually edited before sending.
• If the 'Skip Email' button is clicked, the system does not send this email.
• This email trigger does not support interview time tokens.

Interview Confirmation to Candidate: Sent to candidates upon interview confirmation or when the organizer schedules an interview on behalf of the candidate.

• Once the interview status changes to 'Booked', this email is automatically sent using the email template associated with the 'Interview Confirmation to Candidate' trigger.
• If 'Book this slot for candidates' is checked, the email is sent immediately after clicking 'Send to Candidate' or 'Skip Email'.
• This email cannot be manually edited before sending.
• This email trigger supports interview time tokens.
