Is OData the only REST-based integration option for C4C?

C4C supports only ODATA rest API service, please refer to SAP Help Portal. It explains that C4C V1 OData version 2 specification. There is no other rest API service protocol supported from C4C side. 

If it is necessary to integrate other service to C4C you can check with CPI or any other middleware for achieving the same. In case it is necessary integration of C4C system to an external rest protocol API, check: Integrate an External Web Service Using REST
