3698896 - Employee receives double accrual postings when accrual rule contains FTE or Standard Hours calculation

Symptom

Employee receives double accrual postings.

For example, the accrual posting should be 210 hours, however employee receives 420 hours.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Run Manage Time Off Calendar for accrual.
  2. Users receive double time quotas which is not expected.

Cause

Incorrect end dates in job information records lead to wrong calculation for FTE or standard hours which makes users receiving more quota than their entitlement.

Resolution

  1. Use the Check Tool in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Core to identify inconsistent end dates in job information records.
  2. Navigate to Check Tool > All Job Information records have consistent end dates > Run the check.
  3. Identify records where the end date is incorrectly set to 9999-12-31 instead of the correct date.
  4. Use Quick Fix button to correct the end date for the impacted record to the appropriate date..
  5. Run the accrual calendar again to update the quota correctly.
