3698949 - CDS View is not visible in SAP Datasphere when importing remote table

Symptom

The CDS View cannot be found in SAP Datasphere when importing remote table. The same CDS View is visible when attempting to import it via replication flow but does not appear in the Import Remote Table dialog.

Environment

SAP Datasphere

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In SAP Datasphere, go to the Data Builder
  2. Click on "Import Remote Tables"
  3. Select Source Connection
  4. Search for the CDS View name in the Source Object field
  5. Observe that the CDS View does not appear in the search results.

Resolution

  1. Check the Support Content Remote Table CDS View Replication with ABAP system | SAP Help Portal
  2. Use the SQL View name of the CDS View when searching in the Import Remote Table dialog
