3698990 - The HTTP status code for the asset posting API has changed from 200 to 201 - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Following the 2508 update, the HTTP status code for the asset posting API has been updated. Previously, a successful operation returned a status code of 200, but it now returns 201.

The behavior change originates from the platform level. Status code 201 is now used in certain cases instead of the previous 200 to enable further actions on the result of an operation within a single OData batch request. 

The behavior change is confirmed as intentional and not a bug. Status code "201" also indicates success and was introduced to enhance functionality for certain APIs.  Similar changes may be observed in other APIs, such as the Fixed Asset Acquisition API and the Fixed Asset Revaluation API.
