3699041 - Integration of down payment with sales order credit management not supported before CE2602

Symptom

Problems occur when integrating the down payment process with credit management in the sales order.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

The integration of down payment with sales order credit management is not supported in releases earlier than CE2602.

Resolution

  • Since CE2602, the integration of down payment with sales order credit management will be supported for item category TAN.
  • For other item categories which are not planned in CE2602, raise a new feature request via the Customer Influence Portal (section SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Sales) so that this requirement can be seen and considered by the Product Management and Development team in the future releases.
