How are phone information custom strings displayed on the legacy and latest people profile?

Precondition: There are 5 custom strings configured in phone information:

On the legacy people profile, if there is only view permission to employee data->phone information, 

On preview page, only phone number and the first two customized fields are displayed

On the latest people profile if there is only view permission to employee data->phone information, 

On preview page, only phone number is displayed

If you click on view all, all the fields are displayed

On the the legacy people profile if there are both view and edit permissions to employee data->phone information, 

On preview page, phone number and the first two customized fields after are displayed

If you click on the pencil button, all the fields are visible there

On the the latest people profile, if there are both view and edit permissions to employee data->phone information,

On preview page, only phone number is displayed

If you click on view all, all the fields are displayed there
