3699144 - Email Notification not triggered for alerts after Changing Sender User/ Configurations – BI Monitoring/ All monitoring scenarios

Symptom

  • In SAP Solution Manager, alerts for the metrics process chain are generated successfully in the monitoring system. However, notification emails are not being sent to the maintained recipients. Alerts for all the metrics are being triggered by the system.
  • Issue started after changing the sender user ID in SOLMAN_SETUP from SOLMAN_BTC to other custom user ID
