3699454 - Activity release with crowd functionality not triggering business rule

Symptom

  • When releasing an activity in conjunction with the crowd functionality, no execution is displayed in any business rules that trigger on 'RELEASE'.
  • The business rule monitor shows no execution message, also the activity remains unreleased on cloud database level despite a message in the crowd portal indicating it was released.
  • The issue occurs because the business rule is triggered via the client cloud-partner-dispatch service instead of the client workforce management service used for non-crowd technicians.
