3699548 - Application error occurs for content import job due to special characters in filename

Application error occurs when importing content:

• Error message = Unloadable job encountered: UnloadableJob: instanceID=com.plateausystems.elms.framework.jobscheduling.impl.ContentDeploymentLocationBackgroundJob

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Attempt to import content with filenames containing special characters such as"[" and "]".
2. Modify the Content Object ID after file validation during the import process.
3. Run the import job.
4. Observe that the application error occurs.

Special characters are reserved characters and are not supported in filenames or content object names during the import process. These characters in content launch URL will prevent users from loading the content properly.

As an immediate fix and recommended best practice, please rename the file and content objects to exclude special characters before importing the content. Ensure that filenames and content object names comply with supported character guidelines - 2768097.
