3699577 - Login Name is Incorrectly Updated for Rehired Contingent Workers in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• When a new employment is created for a contingent worker via Integration or from the profile using 'Add Assignment' option, the login name is not updated to match the username of the new employment.
• The login name remains equal to the username of the old (inactive) employment.
• The feature 'Enable login with old user name in case of a rehire with a new employment' is not activated
• The issue does not happen when the rehire process is completed via 'Add New Employee' or 'Add Contingent Worker' tool.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Contingent Workforce

1. Add new contingent employment via integration or Take Action > Add Assignment.
2. Go to Manage Login Accounts.
3. Find the user with person ID.
4. Observe that the login name remains associated with the old (inactive) employment instead of being updated to match the username of the new employment.

The issue has been confirmed as a defect and will be addressed in the 1H2026 Release.
