3699618 - Error "The calculation formula doesn't meet the Read API requirements" When Dividing by a Constant in a Custom Metric

Symptom

When creating a custom metric in SAP Sustainability Control Tower, users are unable to save the formula. The system displays the error message: "The calculation formula doesn't meet the Read API requirements. Please adjust your calculation formula and try again."

This issue occurs under the following conditions:

  • The "Support Intermediate Results (API)" checkbox is enabled in the metric's Calculation Definition.
  • The metric formula involves an arithmetic operation between a variable and a constant number (e.g., VARIABLE_1 / 100 or VARIABLE_1 * 50).
