3699646 - Error "The language vector used for the export contains invalid languages"

Symptom

  • The error message "Message no. TN807" appears in Software Delivery Assembler during the import. (The list of the languages is an example here, it can be different based on the language settings of the SAP system.)
  • The full error message:

The language vector used for the export contains invalid languages:

ABCDFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0123456789abcdi

Message no. TN807

Diagnosis

A language vector that contains languages which are not installed in

the system was used while exporting an OCS package. The following

languages are not installed and cannot be exported:

ABCDFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0123456789abcdi

By default, language-dependent data is always exported in all supported

languages in the export. Restrict the languages to be exported to those

that are actually installed and which are also included in the

translation process by making changes to the R3trans options language

and language_selection_mode (lsm) in the transport profile. For more

information on R3trans options, see SAP Help Portal under help.sap.com.

Select your SAP NetWeaver release and execute a search for the R3trans

options named above.

System Response

The system displays a warning message.

Procedure

Restrict the vector of the languages to be exported in the export

system to the languages that are actually installed or included in the

transport process and export the package again.
