3699656 - Sync Between Matrix Relationships and Job Relationships Type - Employee Central

How the systems syncs the relationship types between Matrix Relationships and Job Relationships when there are two picklist configured for relationship type.

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

The system will collect the values from the external code of picklist for Matrix Relationship (PositionMatrixRelationshipType) and match with the non-unique external code of the picklist jobRelType. Is is not possible to make a custom mapping as the system will automatically pick from one external code to the other to determine the sync.

• The MDF picklist "PositionMatrixRelationshipType" needs to be filled with the exact same values as the EC Legacy picklist for job relationships "jobRelType". Please make sure that non-unique external code in "jobRelType" picklist are same as the external code in "PositionMatrixReletionshipType".
• Please use check tool to identify any configuration issue on the same: Position Management > All values available in the Position Matrix Relationship picklist are also available in the Job Relationship picklist.

Note: customers that implemented Employee Central and Position Management recently can create 1 picklist that can contain entries for both Matrix Relationships and Job Relationships.
