3699749 - System unresponsive when accessing process chain via BW4WEB

Symptom

  • When opening process chain in BW4WEB, the ABAP instance becomes unresponsive and the system hangs;
  • The problem is specific to BW Cockpit and the same process chain can be accessed without issues in RSPC1 via GUI;
  • The affected process chain contains objects using destinations with SNC active in SM59;
  • The error message "Communication failure" appears after 1–2 minutes of loading;
  • All dialog work processes are occupied, resulting in a deadlock situation.
