3699757 - Error during mass assign of goals using import in Legacy Goal Management post b2511 release

• Mass assign of goals throws an error when using the import feature in Legacy Goal Management post b2511 release.
• Error message: "Uxxxx Cannot assign this goal because its ID doesn’t match a valid source team goal: xxxx" even though the group goal Id is valid.

SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management

1. Log in to the instance.
2. Import a Goal Import file using the ASSIGN action to assign a Group Goal.
3. Observe the error message: "Uxxxx Cannot assign this goal because its ID doesn’t match a valid source team goal: xxxx".
4. Verify that the Group Goal ID used in the import is valid and exists in the system.
5. Confirm that the instance is correctly configured:

• Group Goals are enabled.
• The allow-group-goal setting is enabled in the relevant Goal Plan Template.

1. Attempt to assign the same Group Goal manually through the Goal Plan UI. Note that the manual assignment works successfully.
2. Repeat the import using both Beta Goal Import and Mass Assign feature. Observe the same error.

This is a Known Issue.

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release (b2605).
