Symptom

  • When reversing an allocation cycle, the reversal fails with an ABAP short dump.
    • Runtime Error: ASSERTION_FAILED
    • ABAP Program: CX_FINS_FATAL_EXCEPTION=======CP
  • The dump occurs during the reversal posting.
  • Test runs of the allocation are successful, but the live run / reversal fails.
