Symptom

You click Save in the app Create Billing Documents - VF01. The following error message is displayed: "Global official numbering: input parameter incomplete" (Error message: 8A770).

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the app Create Billing Documents - VF01.
  2. Attempt to create a billing document.
  3. Click Save. The following error message is displayed: "Global official numbering: input parameter incomplete" (Error message: 8A770).

Cause

Due to the lack of maintenance of the business place.

Resolution

  1. Activate the Business Place under the configuration activity "Activate Business Place for Scenarios".
  2. Ensure that the Business Place is properly maintained in the configuration activity "Assign Business Places to Sales Offices".
