Option "Add to Metrics List" unavailable for charts in stories in SAC

SAP Analytic Cloud 2025.21.9 

1. Login to SAC
2. Open a story 
3. Click on More actions of a chart

Notice : Option "Add to Metrics List" is not available

Metrics lists cannot be created in the classic story experience.

Convert the story to optimized Story experience. Refer Convert Classic Stories and Analytic Applications to the Optimized Story Experience | SAP Help Portal
