3699983 - TIME_OUT dump when running KOB1 without Order or Order Group selection

Symptom

When executing transaction KOB1 (Actual Line Items for Orders), the system terminates with a TIME_OUT short dump.
Typical dump information:

  • Runtime Error: TIME_OUT
  • ABAP Program: SAPLKAEP / SAPLROMU
  • Application Component: CO-OM

The issue occurs when no Order or Order Group is specified on the KOB1 selection screen.
