3700015 - Unable to create exams in multiple locales using Import Data tool

The Import Data tool in SAP SuccessFactors Learning fails to create and publish exams in multiple locales. 

• Error: com.successfactors.lms.eqb.service.assessment.api.AssessmentServiceException: com.plateausystems.elms.util.helper.ElmsDuplicateKeyDataAccessException: SqlMapClient operation; nested exception is com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.SQLIntegrityConstraintViolationExceptionSapDB: [301]: unique constraint violated

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Access Learning Administration.
2. Navigate to System Administration -> System Management Tool-> Import Data
3. Download template for Exam, and Fill the required data
4. Select Action as 'Import Data', Entity Type 'Exam', Import option 'Add and update', Select Time Zone.
5. Choose Import file -> Submit.
6. Import process fails with an error and comments

The Learning engineering team has addressed the issue by correcting the backend code.

• The fix for this issue is scheduled for deployment in the 1H 2026 release.

Workaround:

• As a temporary workaround, leave all message-related columns (such as 'Welcome Message', 'Proctor Message', 'Success Message', 'Completion Message', and 'Failure Message') empty. This will allow you to create the exam with the same IDs in multiple locales, including any associated questions and objectives.
