3700047 - Not All Teams/Users/Roles Are Displayed in the Available List When Editing Teams/Users/Roles in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

  • When editing teams/users/roles in SAC, not all items are displayed in the Available list if the total teams/users/roles number exceeds 100.
  • However, utilizing the search function with the name of the team/user/role will accurately display the results.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) 2025.21

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into SAC and navigate to Security -> Users.
  2. Select a user and click on edit.
  3. On the "Team Assignment" page:
    • Not all Teams are displayed in the Available list when editing if the total teams exceeds 100.
    • Using the search function with the team name will display the result.

Cause

This is by design

  • It is impractical to scroll extensively to find a specific user, especially when there are more than 100 users, so using the search function is more efficient.
  • Loading too many items in the browser can negatively impact performance.

Resolution

  • For 2025.21, The "Available" and "Selected" lists are limited to displaying 100 items at a time due to UI performance constraints.
  • To find any item not in the initial view, please use the search bar on the wizard select step. The search function will correctly find items from the complete list.
