3700070 - Error upon editing work permit data as "A system error occurred. Please try again later. If this issue persists, please contact Technical Support for assistance"

Symptom

  • While adding work permit data, we are getting an error message as "A system error occurred. Please try again later. If this issue persists, please contact Technical Support for assistance".
  • This happens only in latest people profile. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to user XYZ.
  2. Edit the work permit and add Document title as abc. 
  3. Click save and error appears. 

Resolution

  • Engineering team is currently investigating the issue and under analysis. Please follow this KBA for further updates.
  • As a workaround, you can disable the latest people profile and perform the changes.
