Symptom

  • Error message observed: "FAIL: process hdbdaemon HDB Daemon not running."
  • Daemon process stopped with the message: Error during daemonizing .
  • Restore fails with the message:
    sapparam: sapargv(argc, argv) has not been called!
    sapparam(1c): No Profile used.
    sapparam: SAPSYSTEMNAME neither in Profile nor in Commandline
