3700481 - OIDC authentication not supported in CPI SuccessFactors adapter

Symptom

  • The standard SuccessFactors adapter in SAP CPI supports only Basic Authentication and SAML OAuth 2.0 Bearer Assertion.
  • Users are unable to configure and implement OIDC-based authentication using the SAP CPI SuccessFactors adapter.
  • The lack of OIDC support in the adapter prevents integration between SAP CPI and SuccessFactors using IAS as the primary authentication method.
