3700600 - How to add a custom field at Item Level in the Post Goods Movement app

This documentation describes how to add custom field at Item Level in the Post Goods Movement app. It will use "Gate entry" as an example of custom field.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open app Custom Fields;
2. Press the "+" icon;
3. It will open the window New Field, enter the following information:
   • Business Context: Inventory Management: Material Document Item (MATERIALDOCUMENTITEM);
   • Label: Gate Entry;
   • Identifier and Tooltip will be automatically entered "Gate entry";
   • Type is suggested to use Text or Code List, according to your necessities. 
4. Press Create and Edit;

5. Navigate to tab User Interfaces and then SAP GUI;
6. Select Enable Usage;
   
   
   
   
7. Press Save;
8. Page will reload;
9. Press Publish;
10. Open app Post Goods Movement;
