3700839 - AIF messages related to the Event Queue are not deleted

Symptom

  • Huge volume of messages in transaction /AIF/ERR for namespace /SWFEQ and interface QUEUE_ITEM.
  • Report RSWEQDELETE was executed and that cleared the Event Queue entries from transaction SWEQBROWSER, but not from /AIF/ERR.
  • A retention period is already configured in transaction /AIF/CUST -> Interface Development -> Additional Interface Properties -> Enable Direct Deletion of AIF Interfaces.
