Symptom

  • APS running with errors after upgrading BI.
  • The Properties page indicates that the Excel Data Access Service displays the error message "The service did not start".
  • APS startup logs at a high level reveal the following errors:
    Unable to start OSGI bundle bundleExcelDataAccessService.jar_0.0.0 [114] for service businessobjects/ExcelDataAccessService/100/oca
    org.osgi.framework.BundleException: Could not resolve module: bundleExcelDataAccessService.jar [114]
    Failed to START service ExcelDataAccessService error code is 65111
