3701038 - To Remove Deviating Business Residence Assignment Icon in Organizational Management

Organizational units display the icon: "Deviating Business Residence Assignment."

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Organizational Management work center.
2. Edit Org Structures.
3. Click Edit to go to Planning Area.
4. Highlight the affected Org Unit.
5. Observe deviating business residence icon under business residence.
    

This icon that is displayed is "deviating Business residence assignment” which is explained in the Help Center document: Deviating Business Residence Assignments
Where you assign an org unit to a business residence that is not directly inherited, the assignment is known as a deviating business residence assignment, because you define a deviation between the standard and legal hierarchy. 

To remove this icon from the org unit follow the below points:

1. Avoid maintaining values manually in the business residence field.
2. Allow the system to automatically fetch the required values.
3. If any value already exists in the Business Residence field:
4. Remove the value.
5. Save the changes. The related icon will disappear after saving.
6. After saving, activate the changes in the Organizational Structure.
