3701167 - "Position follow-up processes failed for Manager Self-Service Email Message" Notification was received

Symptom

After a Job Information record was inserted by his Manager, "Position follow-up processes failed for Manager Self-Service Email Message" Notification was received.

Checking in Admin Alerts, the error is "The Job Information record from 2026-01-01 with ID XXX either isn’t the effective latest change or has been deleted. As such, the position follow-up processes haven’t been triggered."

Cause

Another record was added as sequence 2 in the same event date shortly after the first record was added.

The reason for this Admin alert Notification is that the operation times of two records effective on January 1, 2026, were too close. As a result, when the follow-up action for the first record was being processed after the first Job Information data change, the second record had already entered the system, causing the first record not to be the effective last record and resulting in an error.

Resolution

It is recommended that the next time when the records are added on the same event date, the time interval between the operations of the records be longer.
