3701194 - The cost center in the asset master data cannot be edited - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

While closing the fiscal year, the system reported error KI235 'Account & requires an account assignment relevant to cost accounting'.   Meanwhile, the cost center in the asset master data cannot be edited.

The asset has already been deactivated.

1. Open the Manage Fixed Assets app.
2. Locate the relevant assets and click Edit.
3. Remove the deactivated on date and save the page.
4. Click Edit again, update the cost center and re-enter the deactivated on date, then click Save.
