Symptom

The system generates accounting entries automatically when there is a change in the cost center and profit center.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Change the cost center and profit center in the system.
  2. Observe that the system automatically generates accounting entries upon input.

Cause

A value transfer occurred between cost centers.

Resolution

The system currently does not support avoiding the creation of journal entries through configuration changes. Due to changes in the cost center and profit center, the system defaults to generating accounting entries upon input.
