3701250 - Action Code “04” Always Displayed in BusinessPartnerSUITEBulkReplicateRequest SOAP Service

Symptom

When using the SOAP service BusinessPartnerSUITEBulkReplicateRequest to replicate master, the system always displays action code “04” during data extraction. Due to this behavior, it is not possible to determine whether the master data was newly created, changed, or deleted based on the action code. 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Resolution

  • In the Business Partner SOAP API, only action code 04 is supported. This action code is used for all operations, including create, change, and delete.
  • To identify what was created, changed, or deleted, refer to the Business Partner change logs, which provide detailed information about the actual modifications made to the Business Partner data.
