3701324 - kerberos value not unique causing user inaccessibility in sap hana

Symptom

  • Two different users in the system are assigned the same Kerberos value.
  • User A is unable to access the database due to a duplicate entry of EXTERNAL_IDENTITY in the users table.
  • Error message observed when a user has two Kerberos values in the same system: "SNC Error Code A2210217 - The verification of the Kerberos ticket failed".
