3701575 - Unable to map skills with development goal plan

Symptom

Not able to map skills created in TIH with development goal plan.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Career Development Planning
  • SAP SuccessFactors Talent Intelligence Hub

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open development goal plan 
  2. Edit existing one, or create a new one objective
  3. In the competencies field click on the icon of square
  4. Only competencies are listed, no skills are showing up

Cause

Skills are mapped to custom attribute type.

Resolution

Currently, the custom attribute type cannot be displayed in Development Goals during mapping.

Ensure that the skills are mapped to the correct skill attribute type and that it is active. To verify this, check the external code, which should be SKILL.

For competencies, the external code should be COMPETENCY.
