3701598 - MRP does not generate schedule lines for scheduling agreement

Symptom

  • Valid schedule agreement has been maintained for sourcing. However, when running MRP, instead of schedule lines, purchase requisitions are generated.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition CE2502.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a storage location MRP area.
  2. Assign the MRP area to a material in material master.
  3. Set deletion flag against this MRP area for this material.
  4. Create a schedule agreement for sourcing. Maintain the above storage location in this schedule agreement.
  5. Run MRP 

Cause

Known system error. 

Resolution

The issue will be fixed with CE2608 upgrade.

Before that, remove this storage location from the schedule agreement as workaround.
