3701719 - Login screen appears when accessing SuccessFactors integrated to IAS

• After integrating Identity Authentication Services (IAS) to SuccessFactors, users are redirect to IAS login screen to authenticate
• IAS is requesting credentials to authenticate instead of automatically authenticating via SSO

This is part of the system design, as IAS needs to know who is trying to login to authenticate. 

IAS will prompt the login screen to enter username and password, at least once, so the cache information can be saved for that login process. 

IAS will not prompt the login screen to ask who is trying to login only when:

• Cache information is saved (it can be by selecting "Keep me Signed In" option) and when session is still active
• When IAS is integrated as a full proxy between SAP SuccessFactors and a corporate IdP, users are automatically redirected to their corporate IdP login page for authentication if Conditional Authentication is configured with the default redirection set to the Corporate IdP.
  
  • NOTE: in case you have set conditional authentications, the IAS screen will appear at least once so you can identify who is trying to login and IAS can redirect you according to the conditions set.
