Error "unexpected situation at START_SERVICE(CL_FINS_TRR_CLOSING_CONTRACT)"
Message no. FINS_REV_REC007 when a job is scheduled across multiple ledgers

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Run Revenue Recognition - Projects.
  2. Select Fiscal Period/Year
  3. Specify Company Code
  4. Choose Ledger
  5. Execute the process.
  6. Observe that errors occur in some ledger while others are processed successfully.

Cause

A recent coding issue within the application jobs related to scheduling is identified.

Resolution

The issue is currently under analysis, a permanent fix has not yet been finalized or deployed. 

At this time, the only available workaround is to schedule jobs individually for each ledger.
