3701847 - Billing elements not displayed in the app 'Manage Project Billing'

Symptom

Billing elements related to the project are not displayed in the app 'Manage Project Billing'.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the app 'Manage Project Billing'.
  2. Select a project (The project should be in 'Execution' stage).
  3. Observe that no billing elements related to the project are displayed.

Cause

The items of the sales order or billing elements linked to the project are blocked due to the billing block maintained in the app 'Manage Sales order for services'.

Resolution

  1. Open the sales order linked to the project using the app 'Manage Sales Orders - Services' or by navigating from the 'Plan customer projects' app.
  2. Click on 'Edit'.
  3. For the sales order item or billing element, select the dropdown 'Billing Block' and set it to empty/blank.
  4. Click on 'Save'.
  5. Verify that the billing elements are now visible in the app 'Manage Project Billing'.
