3701891 - Employee History is fetching data from when user was on suspension period

• The Employee History section in the Variable Pay template is not respecting the Employee History Eligibility Rule configured to include only Active employment status.
• The system is fetching periods where the user was not active, such as suspension periods, despite the rule configuration.

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay

1. Configure the Employee History Eligibility Rule to include only Active employment.
2. Create a Variable Pay template with Employee History section.
3. Ensure suspension periods are recorded in Job Information.
4. Employee has MDF records in other periods. 
5. Run the Employee Central History Processor Job and check the Employee History section.
6. Observe that suspension periods are still included in Employee History despite the rule configuration.

Currently, in Variable Pay suspension periods are not supported with MDF record for other periods.

Currently this is the expected system behavior. To correct this, a MDF record within the suspension period should be created for the affected users. Please refer to the workaround below:

1. Create a record in MDF for the suspension period for the affected user. Set the record start date as first day of suspension and end date as last day of suspension. 
2. Run the Employee Central History Processor Job with "Import By Only Changed Records".
3. Verify that the suspension period is excluded from Employee History.

Note that this is a workaround, and the suspension period must be manually maintained in MDF until a system enhancement is implemented.
