Symptom

  • Unable to create a new space due to insufficient storage.
  • Creating an space the message: "Out of Storage: To create a new space, please reduce the assigned storage of another space or delete a space that you don’t need anymore. You can increase your total system storage by calling Manage Plan."

Environment

SAP Datasphere

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Space Management.
  2. Attempt to create a new space.
  3. Observe the error message: "Out of Storage: To create a new space, please reduce the assigned storage of another space or delete a space that you don’t need anymore. You can increase your total system storage by calling Manage Plan."

Cause

  • Insufficient memory or disk

Resolution

  1. Navigate to Space Management.
  2. Change the spaces visualization to list
  3. Verify that the memory or disk allocated and compare with tenant configuration.
  4. Increase the disk or memory that are on limit.
