Symptom
- After restoring an SAP HANA system using a backup from another system (system copy / redirected restore), backup catalog entries that were created before the restore on the target system are missing.
- Only backup catalog entries originating from the source system are visible in SAP HANA Studio or SAP HANA Cockpit.
- Customers assume that previously taken backups of the target system (for example non-production) are lost.
- This situation frequently blocks rollback or recovery plans after a system refresh.
