3702346 - No option to take action on the 'In Progress' Position Admin Alerts

Symptom

There are few alerts stuck/blocked under the 'In Progress' tab in Admin Alerts page. However, there is no option available to take action on those alerts.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Position Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to instance.
  2. Navigate to Admin Alerts page.
  3. Open any admin alert like Position Follow-Up Processes.
  4. Check for any alerts under the 'In Progress' tab.
  5. There is no option to take Action on the alerts.

Cause

Alerts under 'In Progress' tab cannot be actioned.

Resolution

To remove the stuck alerts, please run the check 'AdminAlertInExecutionCleanup' under Check Tool-> System Health->Application-> Check Tool and run the quick fix. This would move the stuck alerts to the 'New' tab from where the alerts can be actioned.
