3702480 - 401 Unauthorized Error When Connecting Proaxia Connector to SAP FSM

Symptom

An ERP system (for example, SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA) is being integrated with SAP Field Service Management using the Proaxia Connector (PACG). The integration is configured to authenticate against FSM using a Client ID and Client Secret, following the steps described in the Proaxia documentation, for example:

Despite using a confirmed and valid FSM Client ID and Client Secret, the following error appears in the Message Broker / Transporter logs:

ERROR Exception while starting cloud transporter, transporter will not operate
TransporterException: Login failed. Wrong cloud account name or password.
...
caused by WebException: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.

As a result, the Message Broker engine stops and the connection to FSM Cloud cannot be established.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
