3702577 - Mandatory fields not displayed with red asterisk in SAP GUI for HTML/Fiori

Symptom

After a Kernel upgrade:

  • Mandatory fields on the GUI apps are no longer displayed with a red asterisk in Fiori.
  • Red asterisk is missing in SAP GUI for HTML (webgui).
  • In SAP GUI for Windows, the scenario works (red asterisk appears in the mandatory fields)

Expected scenario:

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or 
demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
