3702593 - Error message when accessing Role in Manage Data - Job Profile Builder

In Manage Data, when attempting to open a Role, the following error message appears: "An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support (with the error information of errorId=XXXX, timestamp=XXXX-XX-XXTXX:XX:XX.XXX, and the version information from the current screen) if the issue keeps occurring."

SAP SuccessFactors Job Profile Builder

1. Navigate to Manage Data.
2. Select "Role" in the first field.
3. Choose any Role from the list.
4. Observe the error message: "An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support (with the error information of errorId=XXXX, timestamp=XXXX-XX-XXTXX:XX:XX.XXX, and the version information from the current screen) if the issue keeps occurring."

Role object is not marked as secured under object definition.

Mark the Role object as secured in Configure Object definition, to do this you can follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to Configure Object Definition.
2. Select "Object definition" and "Role".
3. Click "Take Action" > "Make a correction".
4. Under the security section, set "Secured" to "Yes" and select the permission category "Manage Job & Skill Profile".
5. Click "Save".
6. After this you can grant the permission for the Role object that is available under the category "Manage Job & Skill Profile" for the affected users.
